I agree that words can be used as weapons, especially when those words are an incitement to violence or a suppression of one’s legal rights. (I.e. institutionalization)
I really appreciate you commenting and sharing. I was thinking it could be fun and useful for us to record a dialog around this.
I also have another piece, soon to publish, about how important it is for the survival of our species for us to all look at essentially same information and come to divergent intuitive conclusions — it’s a feature not a bug that helps us maintain flexibility and diversity of options in an uncertain environment.
